La A.S.D. F.C. Sassari Torres Femminile rende noto di aver messo sotto contratto per la stagione 2017/18 la calciatrice Bethanie Griffiths.
Nata il 18 giugno del 1993 a Chelmsford, Beth arriverà in terra sarda nei prossimi giorni dopo aver affrontato, nelle passate stagioni la FA Women’s Premier League Southern Division nelle fila del West Ham. Compagna della ex torresina Erika Campesi, ha mostrato di avere le idee piuttosto chiare:
“I’m excited to play for Torres Femminile, a team with such an accomplished history and the opportuntity to experience Italian football. Following my time at West Ham, I will bring with me experience, dedication and a strong desire to succeed”
Il DS Muggianu: “Portiere dotato di buone doti tecniche. L’ex West Ham a 24 anni darà esperienza e fisicità al reparto arretrato. È un arrivo annunciato dall’anno scorso ma che ha trovato concretezza quest’anno con la conquista della categoria superiore.”
