Mercoledì 14 ottobre, è andata in scena la prima semifinale della Taca de Portugal della scorsa stagione. A fronteggiarsi c’erano Famalicão e Benfica. Due squadre forti e candidate al titolo BPI della Liga.
Le ospiti passano subito in vantaggio al terzo minuto di gioco attraverso rigore di Nycole. Il Famalicão ha provato durante il primo tempo a pareggiare la partita. Rete che arriva al 40′, con un altro rigore, segnato da Vitória Almeida.
Nella ripresa la partita è stata molto intensa e competitiva. Le due squadre volevano fortemente un posto in finale. E proprio quando la partita sembrava destinata ai supplementari, il Benfica ha segnato il goal della vittoria. Cloé Lacasse ha messo le biancorosse in finale, ad un solo minuto dal termine del match
Momento difficile per la squadra di Famalicão.
Adesso il Benfica aspetta il suo avversario che uscirà fuori solo il 18 novembre nel match tra Estoril Praia e Braga.
